Biographical Information

Beatrice Bulteau
France 1959

Born in Sancerre, “Val de Loire”, France in 1959, Beatrice was encouraged to paint from an early are by her artist mother, Helen Clement. After three years of study at the Sorbonne in Paris, Beatrice decided to pursue her career as a self taught painter, developing her own naturalistic style based on form and images collected on her extensive travels throughout Europe.

With her move to Lisbon, Portugal in 1980 she began series of studies with horses and movement, and developed her current impressionistic style in watercolor. Since 1985 Beatrice exhibited in galleries in Paris, San Francisco, Tokyo and further thirty galleries throughout the United States and Europe.
