Robert Stack
1961 American
Born in West Chester , PA in 1961, Robert Stack grew up in Chadds Ford
Pennsylvania and has lived in the area off and on for many years. From an
early age he was encouraged to develop his talents. There he was encouraged to develop his talents by area artists and in the art program at the local elementary school. In 1985 he graduated of from the Tyler School of art at Temple University , PA.
Primarily a watercolorist, Robert captures realistic equestrian, architectural, and natural images from his surroundings. He used horses initially as models, going to local farms and horseshows to sketch them. Robert's paintings usually come into his mind as shape, color, compositions or emotion. The subject matter will vary. He lets it all fall together randomly and then directs it in to a finished whole. Primarily a watercolorist, Robert's work depict a variety of subjects including views of his surroundings, wildlife, equestrian, and Civil War subjects. His work has been in many invitational, juried, and group shows and can be found in gallery, private, and corporate collections throughout the U.S. and abroad.
